Our heart-shaped container is here!

Darbi College is happy to announce that the first stage of this year’s charity campaign is complete! The heart-shaped container for collecting plastic caps has arrived!

Our students initiated the project where the school became an official collection point for bottle caps as part of the initiative of the NGO “Caps for Future”.

Students and staff are welcome to leave their plastic bottle caps in the designated container. Our volunteers will take the caps to be recycled and with the funds raised, the NGO “Caps for Future” will purchase lifesaving medical equipment for children and babies. So far the organisation has purchased children’s ambulances, 21 incubators for premature babies and other medical equipment.

This initiative meets Darbi College goals for both environmental and social sustainability and we are so grateful to all students and teachers who made this happen!
