Christmas charity event

The annual Christmas charity event took place on 17 December 2014. Sveta Paraskeva Church welcomed children deprived of parental care from 6 institutions, students and teachers from a number of schools in Sofia and many benefactors who responded to the noble appeal of Darbi Foundation.
A few days before the greatest Christian holiday the children’s faces lit up with smiles not only because of the heart-warming Christmas carols or the numerous gift bags and candies each child received, but mostly thanks to the attention, friendly hugs and the unforgettable moments spent together.
Like every year, the students of Darbi College attended to the kids from the Institution for children deprived of parental care in Lukovit. After the celebration ended we all opened the presents together and had fun with our old friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the magical Christmas song and the beautiful cards the children had prepared for us, and what we appreciated the most was all the smiles and the enjoyable time we had together!
